Rumba Moves – Class 005 – Beginner Moves
We demonstrate three easy-to-follow moves for you to learn each week, including lead-and-follow instructions and timing. You will become more confident and proficient as you build up the number of moves you know.
Rumba Moves – Fan, Sliding Doors, Underarm Turn Right
LEVEL: Beginner
STYLE: Rumba
This variation combines Fan into Sliding Doors, although any figure that ends in Fan Position would be possible as an entry. Notice the mans right hand extended to indicate the Sliding Doors lead and the raising of the joined hands over the lady’s head before ending on the mans right side. Take care to extend the arms as the lady passes from side to side and a release of hold with the right hand as the left hand turns the lady strongly to face each other before the Underarm Turn Right.
Rumba Week 005 Class – Videos
Dance lessons are delivered by two video tutorials for each class. One video demonstrates three moves, and one shows how to put those moves together in a dance to music. (This class is for members – please Join the Site for access to all the classes).
